Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams is an associate attorney at the Women’s Divorce & Family Law Group by Haid and Teich, LLP. Ms. Williams has been a family law attorney for over a decade.

Ms. Williams’ Experience

Her vast array of knowledge in family law consists of handling complex parenting time cases and allocation of parental responsibilities between parents. She has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Will County courthouse for several years and has assisted parties in working out plans that work for the best interest of their minor children. Vanessa has extensive experience in successfully arguing high asset cases and matters that involve the valuation of businesses for the purpose of the division of marital property.

Vanessa has always zealously advocated for her clients and prides herself on being an aggressive litigator and skillful negotiator. While primarily practicing in family law, Ms. Williams has also successfully practiced law in the areas of real estate and bankruptcy.

Ms. Williams’ Education

MVanessa received her bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she double-majored in International Studies with a concentration in Diplomacy and in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management. She received her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. Vanessa is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and in the Federal Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.
