Ms. Suzette Pierson received her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law, where she was editor of the Center for Law & Science Newsletter and was awarded a Law Merit Scholarship. Ms. Pierson received a CALI award for her work with the Death Penalty Legal Clinic. In addition, she was awarded grants to work at the Center for Disability and Elder Law and the Legal Aid Bureau, which is now part of Metropolitan Family Services, both in Chicago.
Ms. Pierson has experience and knowledge
Prior to attending law school, Suzette managed an independent bookstore in Chicago while raising her family. She studied at the University of Chicago where she was the recipient of a fellowship in anthropology and received a Master of Science degree.
Ms. Pierson’s Membership Associations
Ms. Pierson is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
