Ms. Morgan Gay concentrates her practice in the areas of Family and Matrimonial Law. She has significant experience in litigation involving children and counseling victims of domestic violence. Morgan has also co-authored several family law related articles and has assisted her colleagues in presenting continuing legal education seminars.
Ms. Gay is very knowledgeable with every level of the Illinois judicial system. During law school, she completed externships in the Illinois Supreme Court, the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, and the Circuit Court of Cook County, Domestic Relations Division. These past experiences have provided Morgan with a thorough understanding of our judicial system and with a distinct insight into the Domestic Relations Division of Cook County.
Morgan received her Juris Doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School after graduating with Honors from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, with a degree in history and political science. During law school, Ms. Gay participated in the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Team Competition in Las Vegas. She was also the Vice President of the Health Law Society and a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
